When I heard from your student care teacher that you got full marks for your chinese spelling; i was crying for joy. I was carrying two big bags of groceries and at that moment did not quite know how to react to that news. This moring, as I reflected on her words and witnessed your excitment as you ran out to greet your mum to share the good news yesterday! I of course am very happy for you.
I knew God will not go against his words in the scriptures. Do you still remember you used to say ; " I always get 2 wrong for my chinese spelling"? I corrected you back then that God merely fulfill our wishes - be it good or bad. Since this is what you always wanted, then he shall merely listen and provided what you want - you get 2 wrong then. This will keep on going on until we repent (change our attitude) and think on a different level. That's what I said to you, imagine getting full marks for your chinese spelling just like your english one. How would you feel? What would you do?
You were startled for a moment since you could not comprehend what that means and perhaps nobody had told you that before (quite sure your teacher didn't tell you that). So each time you said that negative sentence, I get you to reframe the words to a positive one. But note , son , not merely the words that come out from your mouth but more importantly your belief in it. That is the key. Our conviction in our own words will deliver the results we want !
Did he not say;" believe and you shall receive"? Indeed; you have obeyed his commands wholeheartedly and the marks was merely an evidence of your belief. I want to recognise your efforts put in , the result is secondary because you had learnt something much more valuable than the grades. If you can apply this to other parts of your life that you want to see positive changes, you are already on the winning path. You knew what it would takes to get you there. And I know God is with you throughout the journey, never forsaken you in any way.
Dad did little to help you except to direct you to his words. Hold on to his promises and you will se his deliverance in mighty ways that we cannot conceived.
I know your mum is happy too and both of us are proud of you. Keep up the good works(increase your faith with the Lord)and you shall find studying for tests and exam a breeze.
Remember
Mark 9 : all things are possible
Matthew 19 : all things are possible to him who believes
I am so happy for you , my son.
Love you loads
Daddy
