I still run on most days but I took different routes as well. The air was dusty and caused difficulty in breathing. I hardly perspire when I was clocking my 5km run. On the day when I was back in SG for my 8km run (too much too soon?) I was totally drenched and felt exhausted the next few days.
I ate more as well, averaging 2 bowls of rice/porridge on each meal. My wife said the weighing machine is not accurate but at one time I found out I gained 2kg in that short period of time. OMG!!!! Still, in this city, there are no electric scooter or the child's scooter that is commonly seen here. I wonder why? Someone told me it is hard to get an import license in China, could this be the reason?
I also nap more in the afternoon out of boredom and lack of activities, I guess. As if waiting for something drastic to happen, the tendency to procrastinate seems inevitable and resistant to change. I know depending on willpower is not the answer, I need God's help.
God, help me to steer clear from things I should not be doing and direct me to the path you had for me. Cleanse my negative thoughts that haunt me from time to time and filled it with your positive and encouraging words to live by. Intensify my thinking power, propel it to a higher level and coerce me/persuade me to take massive actions. I needed that, God.
Romans 5:1-21 Therefore, since we have been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ. Through him we have also obtained access by faith into this grace in which we stand, and we rejoice in hope of the glory of God. More than that, we rejoice in our sufferings, knowing that suffering produces endurance, and endurance produces character, and character produces hope, and hope does not put us to shame, because God's love has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit who has been given to us. ...
Thank you.
