It has been more than a week since I started on going a healthy diet regime. Nothing spectacular , in fact it is downright simple - consume more plant based food, cut down/out meat, minimal fish and include grains and seeds into my diet. Something very new is also added - seaweed. My wife made miso soup yesterday and it was great!
Now I had homemade soya milk in the morning and even introduced to my kids. I am observing his morning sneeze and see if it will go away (unless it is environmental trigger). We cut out white bread and replace with wholemeal instead. I am scouting for some vegan recipe to make my very own bread with no sugar, butter or milk, if possible.
Soon, it will be a new experience for my son who is going to Primary 1. He has a nice hair cut yesterday and he seems not the least nervous nor excited about this new adventure. I guess he takes it in good stride! Yeah.
Oh, yes, my new herbs - coriander and basil leaves are sprouting nicely. Look at those young green shoot, so vibrant and full of life! I grow, I shoot, I eat , nice ! To be so involved with the Nature, being in the process of growing it and watching it blossom and taking care of it feels so natural and gives a warm feeling. It makes me comfortable.
I am also grateful and happy to say that Dad since discharged 2 days ago are recovering well at home. He is happy to be at his own place and having grandsons around him. I wish longevity and peace be with him for 2016 and may God watch over his health like he introduced a new diet plan for me.
Praise the Lord!
